Jayne has played the role of Soap Star in Menopause since it's Toronto's debut in 2006.
When not touring Jayne has played countless of other leading roles in major Canadian productions which include; Tanya in Mamma Mia at the Capital Theatre in Port Hope. Before that she delighted audiences as Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein, for which she was nominated for a Calgary Theatre Critics Award. Previously, Jayne completed her fourth production of Mary Poppins, this time for the Globe Theatre in Regina. She has twice been nominated for a Toronto Dora Award (Falsettos and Menopause - Out Loud!). Other highlights include: Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins (Disney); Sister Bertha and Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music (Mirvish Productions); Madame Giry in The Phantom of the Opera (Livent); Kate in Kiss Me Kate (Stratford Festival); How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Harvey, Annie, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins (Drayton Entertainment); Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Meredith in BatBoy. Ms. Lewis originated the roles of Monica in Sinners, Sheila Walsh in A Gift To Last, “Death” in Pelagie and Val in War Brides. She has performed with major Canadian symphonies as a guest soloist and in Irving Berlin … Always, a tribute show she created with husband Victor A. Young. Jayne is the voice of Edie in the animated series Willa’s Wildlife and appears as Sayeh Simms in the series Killjoys, on the Space Channel. This fall Jayne is starring as Marlene Dietrich in the Mirvish Production of "Piaf/Dietrich in Toronto.

Janet is overjoyed to be rejoining the original Canadian cast of Menopause the Musical and is proud to be one of the partners of Shaggypup Productions. Past credits include Aldonza in Man of La Mancha , Mistress Page in Merry Wives of Windsor, Maria in Twelfth Night Countess Rousillion in All’s Well That Ends Well. In Toronto, Janet appeared in the Sound of Music for Mirvish Productions, directed by Jeremy Samms. Also for Mirvish - Les Miserables, H.M.S Pinafore, and Yum Yum in the Mikado which also played across North America, including Broadway. Favourite musical theatre roles include Mary in Jesus Christ Superstar and Annie in Annie Get Your Gun..Janet spent seven years with the Toronto cast of Phantom of the Opera, which also toured Hong Kong and Singapore. One of the many roles she played in Phantom was the coveted part of Christine Daae, reputedly the largest role ever written for a soprano in musical theatre. But, Janet is probably best known for her role as Grizabella in Cats – in four separate productions. Recently she has co-written two shows – Three Little Maids and A Broadway Valentine, performed at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga –on Valentine’s Day!. Janet would like to give a shout out to breast cancer survivors everywhere.
Barb Scheffler is a Toronto based performer and a graduate of the Sheridan College Musical Theatre program. For many years she has worked as a writer and performer for Mysteriously Yours Murder Mystery Theatre. Most recently she played Madame Sofronie in the musical “Gift of the Magi” by Leslie Arden for Smile Theatre. Some of her favourite roles include Steffy in “I Oughta Be in Pictures”, Sister Amnesia in “Nunsense 2”, Florence Vassy in “Chess” and the Taxidermist in “Get Stuffed! The Musical”. She is also a wife, and mom to three fabulous kids!

Starting with the production in 2006, Tracy is always thrilled for the opportunity to return home to her Menopause The Musical family. A graduate of the theatre program at Brock University, Tracy has since worked as a Stage Manager in theatre, musical theatre, opera and dance. She has worked nationally and toured extensively covering most of Canada and the USA, as well as Asia and Europe. Allison is a graduate of the University of Windsor. Since graduating, she has been a part of the 2011 & 2015 Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space and in 2011 was selected to be a participant of the new project: Six Acts. Production Manager/Technical Director/Lighting Supervisor
Brad has been involved in many capacities with Menopause the Musical over the course of the past decade including Technical Director for the show’s various runs in Toronto and Lighting Designer for its 6 year run at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. Lighting design credits include the Canadian production of CATS at the Panasonic Theatre (2013) and Canadian Stage Company’s Shakespeare in High Park (2015). His work in dance includes lighting for Ballet Creole, Janak Khendry, Menaka Thakkar, Shawn Byfield, The Stepcrew and The Virsky Ukrainian Dance Company. Other credits include designs for YPT, Carousel Players, singer Matt Dusk, magician Ted Outerbridge, His Holiness The Dalai Lama (Skydome) and the National Chinese Acrobats (Sony Centre). Brad has contributed many articles to Professional Lighting and Production Magazine and he is member of Associated Designers of Canada.

Tristynn is a Production Manager and Technical Director based in Montreal. Recent productions include Louis Riel: a Comic Strip Stage Play (Rustwerk Productions), Hockey Sweater: The Musical, (The Segal Centre for Performing Arts) and The Tashme Project (Tashme Productions). Tristynn has production managed shows that have gone on to festivals across the country and abroad.
Cory Janko is the Audio Engineer for Menopause The Musical. Dedicated to Audio, and with years of experience in the Audio Visual industry, Cory strives to make every show sound the very best.
In his off time, Cory can be found pursuing his passion for sonic perfection, although he is also a fitness enthusiast, and loves recording his own original music. During the winter & summer months when the show is not touring, Cory is a freelance Audio Engineer for several Production Companies in Western Canada.
Transportation, Set Maintenance and Stagehand
After completing a Degree in History and working 20 years in the marine industry, Dana went back to school to learn a trade, and thanks to an old friend, fell into Theatre completely by accident! After 4 successful seasons of building custom sets for the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope Ontario, she joined the ShaggyPup Family and hasn't looked back! Driving the set across the country, building, striking, loading the trailer and running the odd show, Dana looks forward to more adventures with this amazing group of humans! A Tony Award®winner for his work on the 50th anniversary production of WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, Seth would be the first to tell you that he’s lived a theatrical life. A graduate of UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film and Television, he was bitten early by the entertainment bug and has worked in theatre and film ever since. Some of his favorite highlights include producing 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL on Broadway with Dolly Parton, co-financing the Tony Award®and Olivier Award-winning musicals THE BOOK OF MORMON and MATILDA THE MUSICAL, and directing the award-winning documentary F(L)AG FOOTBALL (FlagFootballTheMovie.com).
He currently has THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG and THE BOOK OF MORMON running on Broadway, TINA THE MUSICAL, and SIX running in London; and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG on national tour in the U.S., with some exciting new productions opening this summer on Broadway and in the West End. Jeanie is a passionate voice for a generation of women facing more than hot flashes. Presented with the Veteran Feminist Medal of Honor by Gloria Steinem, she has funded women’s education, housing and programs from New Orleans to Kenya and National Ovarian Cancer Coalition among others. Ms. Linders’s work in entertainment and producing spans three decades including theatre, music festivals and celebrity-driven events. She works as a marketing consultant for playwrights and theatres nationally.
